Welcome back! Not sure whether you’ve been making videos or not since I forgot YouTube existed, but it’s nice to see a comic again.
Thanks! I’m glad you’re still reading and/or RSS subscribed after my long, long, unexplained absences. But here is an explanation: beyond all reason, people have been paying me to do some freelance animations, and while it’s amazing to be able to do that it’s very creatively draining. Also, people started actually subscribing to my patreon because of my podcast animations, and I felt like I should keep doing those at every opportunity even though it was like $20 a month. I ended up pausing my patreon just to dump the extreme guilt of not being able to do that regularly right now, and freeing myself to do some just for fun, blowing off the steam comics like I used to.
Wow, you’re in the big leagues now! If you save up for a few months you could even afford one of them infinite canvases. I’ll have to check out your new animations.
You’re getting paid to do those? Awesome. I enjoy them a lot, even if I miss the comic. This one is hilarious, is there a name for what panel 6 does? also man I relate, lyrics websites have always been garbage
I’m not getting paid for the CBB animations, those are just on my own time kinda, but I am getting paid for other animations that have yet to be released, and hopefully one day will be! Genius is actually probably the best lyrics site I think. As for panel 6, I have no idea, it’s like uhhh, in universe live commentary?

I hope Regular Customer becomes an important new character in the lore.
